When the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway was ready to open to Kinneil in 1983, it acquired five Norwegian coaches by public appeal. These were shipped to Grangemouth and brought to Bo'ness by road. They were useful when operated with Caledonian Railway 0-4-4T locomotive No.419, as both they and the locomotive are fitted with the Westinghouse continuous automatic air brake.
Two of these coaches have since been sold to the Swindon & Cricklade Railway, and two others are now in use for the model railway display at Bo'ness Station.
