This car is in its final rebuilt condition. The original wrap-round cab windows were replaced with flat armoured glass to protect the driver from objects thrown by vandals. The passenger front view was blocked by a solid partition behind the cab, and the original blue livery was replaced by Glasgow Passenger Transport Executive bus colours of vibrant orange and black. In the centre of the cab and on the lower bodyside is the ScotRail "whoosh" emblem, used by the National Express group when they operated the franchise.
