Built 1943. SRPS Core Collection, on display, LMS bauxite.
This represents the final development of the LMS standard "High [sided] Goods" wagon. Compared to Midland Railway No.93177 the most noticeable difference is the changeover from timber to a riveted steel underframe, but other refinements include oil axleboxes and a kink at the bottom of the side door to make a level surface when the door is lowered and so make it easier to wheel goods in and out from a loading platform.
This wagon was Rosyth Dockyard No.42.
